I got this tattoo in october, its a dragonfly in flight. Dragonflies have a lot of different meanings in different cultures, but to me the dragonfly and its placement on my body is a symbol for renewal and the sense of self that comes with maturity. Dragonflies live a short life which I interpret as a life that should be lived to its fullest, we don’t know how long our time here is and therefore our lives should be full and lively when its our time.
